stepping into a totally different world. Sprawling waters of Ganga,

The main ghat at Haridwar is known as Hari-ki-Pairi. It is known for a
footprint of Vishnu on a
stone in a wall. The five sacred bathing
spots in Haridwar are Gangadwara, Kankhal, Nila Parvata, Bilwa Teertha
and Kusavarta. The Ganga Aarti, which is celebrated each night at
Hari-ki-Pairi, is a spectacular sight. Mansa Devi, Chandi Devi, Sapt
Rishi, Maya Devi, Daksha Mahadev Temple, Daksha Mahadev Temple are the
other religious sites of Haridwar. Rajaji Park in the vicinity of
Haridwar is the destination for the wildlife and nature lovers.

In Rishikesh visit Laxman Jhula- a hanging bridge on the river Ganga is one of the most famous spot in Rishikesh. According to Indian mythology, Lakshman, the younger brother of Lord Rama crossed the Ganga with the help of hanging bridge made of Jute. The bridge offers a scenic view of the river Ganga as it tumbles down to Haridwar. Also visit Bharat Mandir - the oldest temple in Rishikesh, near the Triveni Ghat. This temple is dedicated to Bharat, the younger brother of Lord Ram. Optional activities -White water rafting. Late afternoon drive to Haridwar
& transfer to railway station to board the train back to Delhi.
